We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead and grow our indoor playground business. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving business development initiatives, drive sales revenue and ensuring excellent customer experiences. This role requires a strong balance of leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on management to deliver both operational excellence and business growth.
The General Manager will play a key role in building partnerships, developing sales strategies, managing staff, and enhancing the overall brand presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Sales
Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue.
Outreach and initiate collaborations with schools, corporates, and community partners.
Developing attractive event products such as party packages
- Operations Management
Oversee daily operations of the indoor playground, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and service quality.
Managing & executing full venue and corporate events
Manage budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures.
Develop and implement operational policies, SOPs, and service improvements.
- Staff Management & Leadership
Recruit, train, and motivate staff to achieve business goals.
Lead, mentor, and evaluate team members to ensure high performance and job satisfaction.
Foster a positive workplace culture focused on customer service excellence. - Strategy & Growth
Develop and implement short- and long-term business strategies.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead.
Create promotional campaigns and events to drive customer engagement.
Prepare regular reports to stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of managerial experience in retail, hospitality, leisure, events or entertainment industries.
- Proven track record in business development and sales .
- Experience in sales (preferrably events).
- Ability to develop sales strategies to sell and effectively close events sales.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with experience leading multi-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with ability to analyze performance metrics.
- Highly organized, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with passion for creating engaging family experiences.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays.
