About the role:
We are seeking a Sales Manager with a passion for impacting developing communities through providing access to clean water. This role is pivotal in managing existing accounts, developing new business, and scaling our global distributor network. The ideal candidate has a strong background in B2B or B2G sales, understands the dynamics of international markets, and thrives in purpose-driven work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a portfolio of new and existing sales accounts within the humanitarian, non-profit, NGO, and water sector.
- Develop and manage relationships with international distributors, including onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Drive sales growth by identifying new market opportunities, designing and executing strategic sales plans, and achieving quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Understand and communicate Wateroam’s products and solutions to prospective and existing clients, tailoring proposals to their needs.
- Represent Wateroam at industry events, conferences, and trade shows locally and internationally.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, R&D) to deliver on customer needs and market feedback.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform ongoing sales and product strategies.
- Maintain accurate sales records and forecasts using CRM tools and provide timely reports to management.
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience : 3–7 years in B2B sales, international distribution management, or account management (experience in humanitarian or water-related sectors is a plus).
- Strong communicator : Able to build trust and communicate clearly across cultures and stakeholder levels.
- Strong team player: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Strategic and hands-on : Comfortable developing strategies while also rolling up sleeves to execute.
- Mission-aligned : Passionate about solving global water challenges and driving impact.
- Willing to travel : Occasional overseas travel may be required to meet partners or attend events.
