Key Responsibilities include:
- Work with the Chief Investment Officer and other Investment Heads to develop investment strategies across all asset classes. Use academic as well as other external research resources to conduct top-down market and industry research that contributes to the Income’s investment processes.
- Lead Strategic Asset Allocation studies to align the long-term investment exposure of each fund to sustain in-force business and enable competitive new business pricing and support Company level capital/strategic initiatives.
- Identify and analyse macro and thematic trends globally to meet investment needs. Develop actionable investment strategies through Asset Allocation that span across sectors and geographies.
- Support ALM initiatives such as the Matching Adjustment portfolio, liability driven fixed income benchmark reviews, duration management and options hedging programs.
- Develop and enhance processes for portfolio construction and risk management and conduct quantitative portfolio and risk analytics for investments.
- Support the Investment department in the economic modelling, risk budgeting and regulatory treatment of new asset classes and new product investment solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years of investment management, portfolio strategy and research experience in the finance industry;
- CFA charterholder

- Experience with macro-economic and market research, including practical experience of asset allocation in multi-asset framework;
- Ability to develop and construct well considered views on the likely evolution of economic and market cycles, and how different asset classes are expected to perform;
- Passion for investing with insight and conviction to pursue superior investment outcomes;
- Excellent communication skills and presentation skills with ability to work with stakeholders;
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
