In this Role, you’ll get to
- Act as the link between business teams and data solutions, ensuring clear communication and alignment on data needs across the SEA.
- Work with business leaders to create and deliver a strategic analytics roadmap, focusing on high-impact projects within set timelines.
- Promote analytics best practices and mentor the team to maintain strong data governance and insights delivery.
- Analyse market trends, competition, and business performance to support regional growth.
- Monitor key business metrics (e.g., demand, supply, traffic, conversion rates), identifying and addressing critical issues.
- Collaborate with HQ data engineering to improve the data stack, governance, and overall data quality.
- Partner with HQ BI and regional teams to enhance the analysis framework and boost analytics quality.
- 8+ years of experience in data analytics, with a proven track record of leading data-driven projects and teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong SQL skills are a must, with proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel, BigQuery, Hive) and strong statistical knowledge.
- Expertise in product analytics, CRM analytics, business data analytics, and market data analytics.
- Exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong leadership skills, including mentoring teams, managing multiple projects, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in the travel industry and a portfolio of past work are a plus.
