HOKKIEN SERVICE PASTOR
Job Description
You are expected to perform the pastoral duties of preaching, teaching, catechizing, member-care, and administration of the sacraments at Zion Bishan (ZB) Hokkien Service. You will be a member of ZB Chinese Services pastoral team and work alongside the Chinese ministries’ leaders. You will also be expected to serve in other ministries as needed as member of the Pastoral Team.
Qualifications
You should be a spiritually mature Christian with a people-centered personality and be willing to devote your time to the Hokkien and Seniors ministry. You should ideally possess a degree from a tertiary institution. A Bachelor of Divinity degree or higher from an accredited theological college is required. The post also requires that you have good interpersonal and communication skills. Please note that the position requires a one-year probation. Even if the applicant is already an ordained minister, the ordination will only be formally recognised upon validation by the BPCIS Council.
