Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
- Occasional Saturdays may be required (time-off will be given in lieu)
- No work required on Sundays and gazetted public holidays unless otherwise specified
Job Summary:
The ICT Executive will manage and support ICT initiatives, AV resources, and digital platforms at the Umar Pulavar Tamil Language Centre (UPTLC) and the HQ Curriculum Planning and Development Division. This includes overseeing the implementation of ICT programs, planning ICT solutions, managing procurement processes, ensuring equipment upkeep, supporting video conferencing/webinars, and providing AV and technical support during major events.
Key Responsibilities:A. General ICT Roles (UPTLC / HQ Curriculum Division):
- ICT Programme Management
- Lead Centre-initiated ICT projects and coordinate HQ ICT rollouts
- Ensure compliance with MOE ICT standards and policies
- Provide regular project updates and documentation
- ICT Planning & Business Solutions
- Assess Centre ICT needs and propose technical solutions
- Evaluate market pricing and technical specifications for ICT purchases
- Procurement & Vendor Management
- Assist in procurement processes: bulk tenders, quotations, and tenders
- Liaise with vendors on product/service delivery and repairs
- ICT & AV Resource Management
- Maintain, track and manage ICT/AV inventory
- Handle equipment replacement, loan processes, and asset condemnation
- Team Collaboration
- Supervise and assign work to Technology Assistant (TA) and ICT support staff
- Collaborate with internal trainers and external vendors
- Technical Facilitation
- Organise and support webinars, video conferences, and virtual meetings using MS Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and Skype
- Assist in logistics for large-scale events and workshops
B. Specific Tasks (UPTLC and PD/TL):
- Maintain Learning Management System (LMS), Mass SMS, Report Booking, and e-Learning Portals
- Manage the Centre website and premises booking system
- Troubleshoot issues with SSOE services (e.g., login, font)
- Assist in preparing ICT Masterplan and project documentation
- Draft Invitation to Quote (ITQ), budget plans, and AOR forms
- Support AV requirements for events (e.g., Speech Day, TL Seminar, Camps)
- Design digital content: e-banners, slides, booklet covers, etc.
- Manage Digital Signage content and produce video presentations
- Provide user support (e.g., HRMS, VPN, GeBIZ)
- Conduct photography/videography during events and perform post-production editing
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum Diploma in ICT with at least 5 years of relevant ICT experience
- Preferably 5 years of experience in MOE Singapore schools
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- Active Directory, VPN, Outlook, mobile devices, printers, servers
- Configuration, installation, and maintenance of end-user devices
- Experienced in:
- Managing ICT/AV projects and vendor coordination
- Purchasing through GeBIZ and budget tracking
- Training end-users and documenting IT processes
- Proficient in:
- Facilitating and supporting webinars/events (MS Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Skype)
- Video editing and post-production software
- Maintaining and updating school websites
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Good multitasking and time-management abilities
- Familiarity with ICT shared services and escalation handling
Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $3,000.00 per month
