The role of the ICT Executive is to plan and manage the seamless integration of educational technology into our learning environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Asset Management – Procurement, Deployment, Maintenance and Inventory
- Research, recommend and acquire suitable ICT, Assistive Technology (AT), and Audio-Visual (AV) equipment.
- Maintain loan inventories and implement efficient asset tagging procedures.
- Coordinate the streamlined deployment of ICT resources to classrooms and departments.
- Provide routine checks and manage the repair process for faulty ICT equipment through collaborating with vendors and service providers.
- Provide routine device maintenance checks and condemn/replace outdated or non-functional devices.
- Provide prompt technical support to teachers and staff, addressing both hardware and software challenges.
- Conduct regular troubleshooting to guarantee the optimal functionality of all ICT devices.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the school's ICT lab.
- Ensure that all lab equipment functions properly and meets the specific educational requirements of our students.
- Set up and dismantle ICT and AV equipment for school events, meetings, and presentations.
- Offer on-site technical assistance during events
- Conduct in-house ICT and AT training sessions for staff.
- Provide ongoing support to facilitate the effective integration of technology into the classroom.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong ICT technical skills and the ability to provide effective technical support.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience in conducting training sessions is a plus.
