Shook Lin & Bok LLP, a leading Singapore law firm, is looking for a meticulous and well-organised individual to join us as an IP/Trademark Executive.
Requirements
- Possesses a competent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Demonstrates strong computer literacy skills (in MSOffice applications such as Word, Outlook, and Excel) and willing to learn and effectively utilize IP management software (familiarity with DIAMS, Foundation IP, or Patricia is a plus).
- Minimally 2 years working experience as an IP paralegal, or IP executive with experience in handling filings via IPOS Digital Hub and the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO).
- Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team to ensure deadlines are met.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate cost estimates to clients.
- Manage clients' IP records, ensuring they are up-to-date and well-organized, and preparing status reports.
- Assisting with the filing, prosecution and management of IP applications (patents, trademarks and design rights) both locally and overseas, including tracking and managing deadlines related thereto.
- Reviewing, and reporting on office actions, including preparation of responses.
- Managing day-to-day administrative matters and assisting in ad-hoc tasks related to any of the above-mentioned.
