Duties/Areas of Responsibility
- Responsible for the entire IT infrastructure
- Responsible for managing backups & backup integrity
- Ensuring a high level of IT security in the company
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues including issues in the ERP. However the ERP system will also be supported by 3rd party consultant
- Undertake small to medium-sized IT projects as instructed by the IT Manager. Provide IT assistance, knowledge and support for any bigger projects. Liasie with different departments and 3rd parties to complete projects
- Provide desktop/laptop and server support. Maintaining network and server integrity. Ensuring optimal uptime for users. Staff strength of 50
- Ensuring security and upgrades are applied and kept up to date on desktops/laptops and servers.
- Reporting faults and maintaining logs on servers, desktops and laptops
- Purchase (and maintenance) of IT equipment. Includes working with other departments for budgeting.
- IT Compliance & ensure good level of documentation (compliance with audits from parent company and other authorities)
Others
- Provide assistance and support to colleagues in IT-related matters
- Ensure a high level of customer service and support
- Ensure a high level of uptime for the company’s IT infrastructure
- Ensure a high level of IT security
- Some after-office work might be required. Compensation will be provided
Requirements
- Experience in a Windows AD environment
- Good level of problem solving skills
- Willing to take the lead to upskill staff and improve the IT infrastructure in the company
- Diploma with at least 3 years experience working in an IT related field, preferably IT support with some network experience
- Professional certification is a plus
- Experience with IT audit is a plus
- Fresh degree graudate will be consider
