We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Cook / Junior Chef to join our culinary team. You will support the kitchen in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in line with our brand standards. This role requires someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining kitchen operations efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes according to the menu, recipes, and presentation standards.
- Ensure ingredients are fresh, stored properly, and meet food safety standards.
- Perform food prep tasks such as slicing, marinating, skewering, grilling, and braising.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards throughout the kitchen.
- Receive, check, and store supplies accurately; monitor inventory and replenish stock as needed.
Requirements:
- Basic culinary knowledge and food preparation skills.
- Valid Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit and comfortable with standing for long hours.
- Flexible to work weekends and public holidays.
