Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Ship Broker to join our team. In this role, you will support senior brokers in negotiating and arranging the chartering of ships for cargo transport. You will also help maintain client relationships, research market trends, and prepare reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in arranging ship charters between shipowners and charterers
Support senior brokers with daily operations and negotiations
Conduct market research and monitor shipping trends
Prepare and update cargo and vessel lists
Communicate with clients, shipowners, and agents
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Job Requirement
Strong interest in the maritime and shipping industry
Good communication and negotiation skills
Analytical and detail-oriented
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with shipping platforms is a plus
