In supporting the School Principals, the responsibilities of the Kitchen Crew will include, but are not limited to: a) Cooking • Prepare meals, including cutting, washing, cooking, preparation of ingredients, etc. • Ensure food boxes prepared for classroom dining and set up serving areas at Piazzas in a timely manner. • Assist in checking, packing and stock taking of rations, keep storage area neat & clean. • Replenish food/ water/ cutleries supplies in classroom/ Piazza during meal times. • Ensure all food allergy food are prepared, packed and labelled correctly to the appropriate classes. • Fill in the food quality checklist daily. b) Management of Kitchen Hygiene • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen &L2 Pantry in accordance with kitchen cleaning checklist . • Ensure all cleaning equipment (eg. towels, brooms, mops, etc) are properly cleaned, maintained and kept in appropriate storage places. • Bundle and clear rubbish as and when required. Bins to be washed and cleaned daily. • To ensure basic hygiene is practiced when handling washed plates, utensil and cups. • Able to use a dish washing machine to wash plates and utensils. • Basic knowledge of cleaning up workstations/ utensils by using the right detergent and chemical. • Ensure fill in the kitchen QC cleaning checklist daily. • Occasionally polish utensils. Drain dry and stack items after washing. • Organize and pack washed plates, cups and utensil and transport to their respective locations. • Ensure all equipment and machineries are cleaned and in good working condition. • Assist in the set up and break down of serving areas for all special functions. c) Others • Able to perform additional duties as requested by the Centre as and when required
