The Steward is generally responsible for keeping all the BOH restaurant premises clean and tidy.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Cleans all the restaurant premises and keeps it perfectly dirt free at all times
- Responsible for the tidiness and proper keeping of all sections
- Garbage removal from all assigned areas according to company policies
- Follow safe work practices
- Cleans and sanitizes pots, pans, utensils, and other minor equipment routinely used in the kitchen following established procedures
- Cleans and sanitizes dishes and related service ware following established procedures
- Cleans and maintains machinery properly and safely as per manufacturer manual and on-site training
- Maintains the highest possible level of personal hygiene
- Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.
