Our client, a leading company in the LNG sector, is looking for an experienced LNG Commercial Cargo Operator to manage and execute contractual LNG cargo deliveries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end cargo operations, reviewing and negotiating commercial terms in LNG trade documentation, and ensuring smooth coordination across internal and external stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the daily execution of LNG cargo deliveries across the company portfolio, ensuring timely fulfillment of contractual obligations. This includes managing nominations, delivery windows, quantities, ports, and coordinating surveyor appointments. Prepare and issue all required documentation for LNG cargo deliveries.
- Direct and coordinate all parties involved in loading and discharging operations, ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations. Prepare and issue documentary instructions to sellers and select and manage independent surveyors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal (legal, finance, settlements, fleet management) and
- external (counterparties, service providers) stakeholders to streamline pre- and post-deal processes.
- Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve potential operational disputes.
- Negotiate, review, and finalize execution arrangements for various commercial contracts, including Confidentiality Agreements, Key Term Sheets, Master Agreements, and Confirmation Notices.
- Coordinate with Trader, Legal, Finance, Credit, and Back Office teams to ensure compliance with internal processes and best practices.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive contract database, identifying and documenting any discrepancies between Master Agreements and related contracts.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 3 years of experience in commercial operations and/or LNG cargo operations and/or contract management.
- Prior experience in these areas, along with familiarity with the LNG value chain, will be considered significant assets.
- Recent graduates with 1 to 2 years of experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Familiarity with the energy industry and LNG trading is preferred but not mandatory.
