*CLASS 3 DRIVING LICENSE REQUIRED*
Responsibilities:
- Manage the maintenance team to resolve technical issues with cleaning equipment and machinery on site or at the workshop.
- Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure unplanned problems, breakdowns and emergencies are dealt with immediately and their root causes are determined.
- Maintain records of preventive maintenance schedules, breakdowns, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Maintain a proper machinery asset register to keep track of asset holdings.
- Manage and track the maintenance budget, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining safety and environmental compliance.
- Liaise with OEM, external vendors, and operation executives on equipment repair status.
- Research and recommend new equipment for purchase or replacement.
- Work to maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Hands-on mechanical and electrical repair and troubleshooting experience is a must, with the ability to perform preventive and predictive technical maintenance.
- Must have valid class 3 driving license.
- Preferably able to read and understand electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings.
- Proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
