About the role
You are responsible for planning and reviewing Republic of Singapore Navy's (RSN) Current Readiness (CR) budget, including expenditure analysis and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with finance policies.
What you will be working on
- Establish a process to gather effectively and efficiently
- Conduct quarterly budget reviews
- Track payment performance and budget utilisation
- Review and strengthen financial governance processes
- Develop and develop processes to strengthen governance and compliance of financial policy

- Optimising budget allocation to achieve budget sufficiency, resiliency and sustainability
- Managing complex budgetary situations
- Ensuring disciplined approach to budget effectiveness

What we are looking for
- Education in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business
- Relevant experience in budget planning and management
- Skilled in budget forecasting and management
- Proven ability to drive cost savings and resource efficiency
- Strong analytical and performance monitoring capabilities
- Excellence in stakeholder engagement and collaboration
- Deep understanding of financial governance and controls
