Requirement
- Lead and drive all aspects of property and facilities management including soft services to ensure smooth, on-time and on-budget completion.
- Leadership to outsourced facility management team and service contractors.
- Ensure all M&E plants and building systems operate with no disruption to operations and a high service level is maintained at all times.
- Initiate, then implement, solutions to outstanding or new (latent) defect matters ( defect management).
- Excellent tenant and event management
- Initiate improvements, IT and Smart technology to increase productivity, sustainability, improve operational efficiency and cost control.
- Liaise with Business Units to continuously improve design, space utilization and other setup across the SJ Campus buildings.
- Ensure that effective contract administration, documentation, reporting and compliance processes & systems are in place.
- Develop and maintain an effective Work, Health, and Safety regime.
- Develop, maintain and renewal of current Green Mark (Platinum), SLEB and Wellness certification.
- To prepare Board/ Senior management papers, approval paper for procurement, monthly operational and budget updates and presentation materials where required,
- To seek more effective and efficient solutions to problems and manage the SJ Campus Sustainability Framework.
- Review and prepare for annual Infra & Facility Opex and Capex Budget . Ensure that effective and efficient budget controls and financial oversight is in place regarding the Facility Department.
Skills & Education
- Minimum 15 years industry experience with at least 5 years in a senior/head position
- Advance Diploma or Graduate Degree in Property, Building, Facilities Management, Engineering or Technology.
- Versatility, driven, resourceful and team player with ability to multi task
- Experienced in Project management, handling A&A and improvement works, having a Fire Manager and/or SFM certification would be an advantage
- Proven track record of successfully managing and leading a team
- Managed multi-disciplinary teams including sub-contract vendors
- Deep knowledge of property, facility operations, sustainability, Smart building,
- Good verbal and written communication, presentation, tenant and events management skills
- Operation and IFM contract Management , compliance, reporting variations, client / government management
