We are seeking a driven and experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations for our fragrance manufacturing facility . This role is responsible for ensuring efficient, high-quality, and compliant production processes, while driving automation, continuous improvement, and team development .
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Operations & Planning
- Oversee daily manufacturing activities to ensure timely and efficient production.
- Develop and execute production plans in coordination with supply chain and planning teams.
- Optimize workflow, resource utilization, and inventory management.
2. Automation & Process Engineering
- Implement and maintain automation systems to improve productivity and consistency.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on process design, layout, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and recommend technical upgrades or solutions.
3. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GMP , ISO standards , and company quality procedures.
- Monitor quality control processes and lead root cause analysis for quality issues.
- Work closely with QA/QC teams to maintain product standards and reduce waste.
4. Team Supervision & Training
- Lead, train, and motivate production staff to meet performance and safety standards.
- Conduct performance evaluations and ensure continuous skill development.
- Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement on the shop floor.
5. Health, Safety & Risk Management
- Enforce workplace safety policies and ensure compliance with health and environmental regulations.
- Lead risk assessments and implement preventive measures for operational hazards.
- Promote a clean, organized, and safe working environment in line with 5S principles .
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering , or related discipline.
- Min 3 years of experience in production operations and automation , preferably in fragrance, cosmetics, food, or chemical manufacturing .
- Strong knowledge of GMP , 5S , production flow optimization, and lean manufacturing practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office , and familiar with ERP , MES , or production planning systems.
- Experience with CAD software and data analysis tools is an advantage. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
