Responsibilities
- Raise purchase orders and obtain internal approvals
- Monitor job order status and update stock usage reports as needed
- Source materials, request quotes, and compare pricing and lead times
- Conduct vendor assessments and on-site audits when required
- Propose material substitutions to customers if necessary
- Coordinate with suppliers to manage procurement activities and ensure timely delivery
- Issue drawings and relevant documents to QA and other departments
- Review technical specifications and engineering drawings
- Identify cost-effective, value-added suppliers to improve sourcing options
- Support ad-hoc procurement and administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
