Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Design Management:
- Lead and manage the M&E design and drafting team to prepare fully coordinated M&E drawings.
- Supervise the preparation and integration of Combined Services Drawings (CSD) and Structural Electrical Mechanical (SEM) drawings.
- Design Coordination & Submission Management:
- Oversee the coordination and resolution of design submission comments across all stages (Preliminary, Pre-Final, Final).
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of contract drawings, specifications, and as-built documentation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Interface Management:
- Coordinate design interfaces with System Wide Contractor (SWC), consultants, subcontractors, and clients.
- Collaborate closely with structural and architectural teams to ensure seamless technical execution.
- Site Execution & Installation Oversight:
- Oversee site execution by coordinating with stakeholders and M&E subcontractors on scope compliance.
- Follow up with SWC to ensure installation activities proceed without disrupting civil or architectural works.
- Project Milestone Delivery:
- Drive project progress towards achieving key milestones including Temporary Fire Permit (TFP) and Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP).
- Liaise with SWC for viaduct handover arrangements for trackwork contractor readiness.
- Meeting Leadership & Program Planning:
- Lead CCSM, SWC coordination, and CIP meetings to track and ensure progress.
- Prepare and manage the CIP programme, ensuring alignment with key project dates.
- Room Handover & Logistics Planning:
- Manage timely handover of Category Rooms as per project schedule.
- Plan and coordinate M&E equipment and machinery delivery routes to site.
- Technical & Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all works comply with authority requirements and local codes, including Singapore Standards.
- Oversee Green Mark compliance and integration into M&E systems.
- BIM & DfMA Expertise:
- Lead BIM coordination across all trades; proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
- Ensure successful integration of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) processes in coordination with SWC.
- Viaduct & E&M Works:
- Oversee viaduct E&M installation and related CCSM coordination.
- Ensure understanding and implementation of viaduct-specific requirements.
- Procurement & Quantity Support:
- Support Quantity Surveyors (QS) in quantity take-offs for E&M materials.
- Assist in coordination and execution of in-house E&M installations.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or a related field.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience as a Manager in M&E design coordination, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or building projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
