In this position you will....
be responsible for providing a full spectrum of account servicing for new and/or renewal business primarily for personal line products, marine cargo insurance and specialized product schemes in commercial insurance.

You will be responsible for…
- Meet the turnaround time and KPI set for a motor insurance scheme.
- Providing exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting clients with questions and concerns related to personal line products, marine cargo insurance and specialized product schemes in commercial insurance.
- Ensuring renewal retention and organic growth of clients’ needs.
- Ensuring timely production of broking/placement slips, cover notes and policies.
- Processing policy renewals, documents, endorsements, and billings accurately and efficiently. Ensuring policy processing is compliant with company policies and procedures, as well as with regulatory requirements.
- Working closely with claims team to ensure the client’s claims are filed, handled and managed promptly and efficiently. Acting as first point of contact to guild our clients through the claims process and help to coordinate with relevant departments to provide timely response and resolutions for claims dispute.
- Contributing to client retention and business growth by managing relationship with our clients and insurers proactively.
- Assisting credit control department in following up on premium collections when required.
- Handling miscellaneous documentation and record-keeping tasks to ensure customer records, policy documents, and related documentation are maintained accurately, timely and in an orderly manner.
- Performing other ad-hoc assignments which may be assigned as and when required.

You will require the following qualifications and skills
- At least a GCE ‘O’ certificate holder or above with at least 1 year of relevant experience in insurance industry handling general insurance classes.
- Must have a Certificate in General Insurance (BCP, PGI, CGI).
- Self-starter with good problem-solving, communication and time-management skills.
- Able to work independently and as a team player in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Good command of oral and written English. Fluency in oral Mandarin Chinese is preferred.
- High attention to details and accuracy.
