Responsibilities :
- Act as the primary contact person to draft and review trading contracts related to renewable energy (e.g., biodiesel and feedstocks), and coordinate shipping logistics arrangements;
- Manage the end-to-end operations process, including preparing complete shipping documents for bank negotiation in accordance with Letters of Credit and contractual terms, and calculating demurrage;
- Liaise with external counterparts, such as upstream suppliers, shipping agents, inspectors, and customers to ensure timely and smooth delivery; resolve any logistics-related issues promptly;
- Work closely with internal teams including Traders, Shipping, Trade Finance, Accounting and Risk Management departments to ensure seamless business execution;
- Handle sustainability related work, such as issuance of SD/POS and DDC, maintenance of ISCC documents and ISCC certificates annual renewal;
- Support and execute any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Chemical Engineering, Energy Management, or related disciplines;
- Candidates with approximately 2 years of experience in commodity trading or petroleum sector preferred; knowledge of biofuel operations or ISCC is a bonus;
- Basic knowledge of accounting and cost control; familiarity with green commodity pricing is a plus;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of handling documentation and data analysis;
- Able to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarinspeaking stakeholders in China and other regional offices as part of job responsibilities
- Able to manage critical issues outside regular office hours. This role may require attention during evenings or weekends from time to time.
