The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

Role Overview
As an Operations Planning & Project Executive, you will take the lead in redesigning and improving our returns & refunds warehouse operations and operationalising our next major warehouse automation project. This is a hands-on role that blends data analytics, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration, where your insights and execution will have a direct and measurable impact on our operational performance.
Job Description
Transform Returns & Refund Operations: Analyse existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement process changes to handle high-volume returns with speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency- Launch Warehouse Automation: Lead the initial phases of an automation initiative, including opportunity assessment, vendor selection, proof-of-concept design, and implementation planning
- Lead High-Impact Projects: Drive operational improvements, capacity expansions, and productivity initiatives that deliver tangible results
- Data-Driven Problem Solving: Gather and interpret operational data to identify bottlenecks, quantify improvement opportunities, and guide decision-making
- KPI & Incentive Design: Build and refine performance metrics and incentive systems that align operational teams with broader business goals
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse ops, logistics, tech, and regional teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution
- End-to-End Project Ownership: Manage the full lifecycle of projects from concept to delivery, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
- Minimum of 2 years in project management, operations, or strategy roles. Experience in supply chain, logistics, or automation projects is a plus
- Highly skilled in working with data, identifying trends, and turning insights into actionable solutions
- Able to present findings and recommendations persuasively to both operational teams and senior stakeholders
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.
