We are seeking a Packing & QA Supervisor to lead the medal preparation and quality assurance team in our Johor office. Besides supervising packing and QA processes, this role also manages logistics, Delivery Orders (DO), and the arrangement of deliveries for medals, certificates, and other items . The supervisor will ensure smooth operations from packing to dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
Team Supervision & Packing Operations
- Manage daily tasks of packers and QA checkers.
- Assign work orders, monitor workflow, and ensure packing targets are met.
- Ensure all medals, ribbons, and stickers are packed according to SOP.
- Train new team members and monitor ongoing staff performance.
Quality Assurance Management
- Oversee QA checks and verify that packing meets company quality standards.
- Record defects and manage rework procedures.
- Continuously improve processes to reduce error rates.
Delivery & Logistics Coordination
- Prepare and issue Delivery Orders (DO) for all outbound items (medals, certificates, or other materials).
- Coordinate with courier or logistics partners for collection and delivery.
- Arrange packing for safe transportation to prevent damage during delivery.
- Track outgoing shipments and ensure on-time delivery to customers or partners.
- Handle returns or logistics issues when necessary.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor stock levels of medals, ribbons, stickers, boxes, and packing materials.
- Communicate with management for stock replenishment when needed.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain packing, QA, and delivery records.
- Submit daily and weekly operational reports to management (packing output, defects, stock, and deliveries).
- Ensure all paperwork (DOs, packing lists, checklists) is properly filed and documented.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in packing, production, or logistics.
- Experience in preparing Delivery Orders and coordinating deliveries is an advantage.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Good communication skills (English and/or Malay).
- Basic computer skills (Excel, DO preparation, simple data entry).
- Responsible, reliable, and proactive in handling daily operations.
