Job Descriptions:
- Assist the lawyer in preparing, reviewing, and drafting legal documents (e.g., contracts, agreements, court documents, corporate filings).
- Conduct legal and factual research to support case preparation or client advisory work.
- Organize and maintain case files, legal databases, and document management systems.
- Liaise with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders on legal and administrative matters.
- Attend meetings, hearings, or client interviews with the lawyer, taking notes and preparing summaries.
- Monitor deadlines, filing dates, and ensure timely submission of required documents. Provide administrative support to the lawyer, including scheduling and correspondence.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Law, Legal Studies, or related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
- Good research, writing, and drafting skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research tools.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with the lawyer and clients.
