RESPONSIBILITIES
This contract role focuses exclusively on payroll operations, requiring precision, timeliness, and strong numerical accuracy. It is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with a solid understanding of statutory requirements and internal payroll policies.
- Payroll Processing:
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on schedule, including generating payroll reports, bank upload files, CPF submissions, and payslips.
- Verify payroll data and resolve discrepancies in coordination with HR.
- Ensure accurate accounting postings related to payroll transactions.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations such as CPF, IRAS, and MOM guidelines.
- Handle year-end employment income submissions to IRAS and manage IR21 tax clearance for foreign employees.
- Submit NS, Childcare, Maternity, and Paternity claims within required timelines.
- Process levy waiver applications and maintain documentation for audit and compliance.
- Employee Support & Records:
- Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HR system to support payroll processing.
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, or Human Resources.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore employment legislation (Employment Act, CPF Act, IRAS guidelines).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
- Meticulous, organized, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
