Responsibilities:
Strategy and Planning
- Enhance internal work processes to deliver better client experience
Business Performance and Management
- Collaborate closely with private bankers, product managers and market specialists within Private Banking Singapore to deliver suitable investment portfolio solutions to clients
- Construct investment portfolios with different asset classes based on client's risks appetite and investment suitability
- Assist in investment related queries from clients and internal stakeholders
- Provide updates on financial markets and investment ideas/solutions to clients and private bankers
- Share investment views and product ideas with product managers to develop and deliver suitable product solutions
- Work with market specialists to generate investment ideas to help private bankers achieve their investment related KPIs
- Any other responsibilities/tasks as assigned by the Management from time to time
People Management
- Assist senior team members in their work
Regulatory Compliance
- Comply with all relevant guidelines and regulations
Requirements:
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree
Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing Requirements
- CMFAS Module 1B and 5 (and other relevant CMFAS Modules, if required)
- CACS Paper 1 and Paper 2
Relevant Work Experience
- >2 years of relevant work experience
Technical/Functional Skills
- Good investment knowledge on equities, structured products, treasury products, preferably with CFA or postgraduate finance qualification
- Effective oral and written communication skills, able to deal effectively with people at all levels (internal and external), in most situations
- Able to process diverse investment and market views to offer a concise and consolidated view of events so as to give the appropriate recommendation and guidance to sales staff
- Competent in structuring and recommending investment portfolios for clients
- Make effective business decisions independently, based on sound financial and business principles
Personal Skills (Soft Competencies)
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Able to deal effectively with people at all levels (internal and external), in most situations
