Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Private Equity Fund Manager with a strong background in fundraising and investment deployment, particularly in cross-border scenarios involving Singapore and Malaysia (Johor). The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the Singapore fund licensing framework, solid experience across the full fund lifecycle—including fundraising, investment execution, and exit—and ideally, exposure to industrial park or industrial real estate funds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end fundraising process for private equity funds, with a focus on industrial and industrial park-related investments in Johor;
- Structure and manage funds in compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements and licensing standards;
- Deploy raised capital into qualified investment opportunities in Johor, aligning with fund objectives and investor expectations;
- Oversee investment execution, portfolio management, and exit planning;
- Build and maintain relationships with LPs, institutional investors, and high-net-worth individuals;
- Coordinate with internal investment, legal, and operations teams to ensure compliance, reporting, and strategic alignment;
- Identify new opportunities across industrial sectors and contribute to the firm’s growth strategy in cross-border asset deployment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in private equity, fund management, or investment banking, with a focus on primary market (early-stage or growth-stage investment) activities;
- Proven track record in raising and managing funds, including overseeing full fund cycles from setup to exit;
- Familiarity with Singapore fund regulations and licensing frameworks (e.g., VCC, RFMC, LFMC);
- Background in industrial investment or real estate (especially industrial parks) is highly preferred;
- Strong network among LPs and institutional investors in Singapore and/or Southeast Asia;
- Excellent analytical, communication, and deal structuring skills;
