Role Summary and Impact
The Process Automation Specialist is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automated systems and tools to optimize finance and commercial processes within GroupM Singapore. This role will focus on automating revenue forecasting, client profitability, resource management, and other key business functions to drive efficiency and improve decision-making. The specialist will also lead automation projects, ensuring successful implementation and ongoing system maintenance.
The focus of this position will be to provide excellent end-user service, training, demonstration and technical support to the Singapore user base.

Responsibilities of the role:
- Automation Development & Implementation: Design, develop, and implement automated solutions for finance and commercial processes (revenue forecasting, client profitability, resource management and others) using automation platforms and scripting languages (e.g., Python, RPA tools). Integrate with existing applications.
- System Maintenance & Support: Provide ongoing maintenance and support, troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring data integrity and security within automated systems.
- Project Leadership: Lead automation projects from initiation to completion, managing timelines, resources, stakeholder expectations, and communication. Gather requirements and develop project plans.
- Process Improvement & Analysis: Analyze existing processes to identify automation opportunities, document process flows (SOPs), and continuously seek out new automation technologies.
- End-User Support & Training: Provide excellent end-user service, training, and documentation for automated systems. Support new releases and communicate updates.
- Testing & Documentation: Actively participate in the evaluation and testing of new releases, assisting in building training materials and documentation.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in process automation, software development, or a related field.
- Proven experience in building and implementing automated systems using RPA tools, scripting languages (e.g., Python), or other automation technologies.
- Strong understanding of finance and commercial processes, including revenue forecasting, client profitability, and resource management.
- Working knowledge of Project Management
What you will need:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify automation opportunities and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python) or RPA tool (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
- Knowledge on how data integration and interfaces between multiple systems work
- Self-starter with positive, proactive and “can-do” attitude
- Ability to rapidly learn new IT systems and tools
- Excellent end-user facing, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple concurrent tasks while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong command of English
