We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations and ensure production runs efficiently, safely, and on schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production processes, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for quality and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output targets.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of production operators and technicians to ensure optimal performance and morale.
- Monitor workflow, machine efficiency, and material usage to minimize downtime and reduce waste.
- Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
- Review production schedules and assign tasks to team members accordingly.
- Troubleshoot issues in the production line and coordinate with maintenance or engineering teams when required.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and inventory usage using ERP or manual systems.
- Conduct regular team briefings, performance reviews, and training sessions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 5S, Lean, Kaizen) to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Ensure proper handover between shifts and communicate effectively with cross-functional departments.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues under pressure.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production reporting tools.
- Willingness to work shift hours or weekends if required.
- Knowledge of ISO, GMP, or other relevant quality management systems.
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar will be an advantage.
