Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and oversee daily rubber molding operations across multiple work centers
- Execute machine setups, ensuring correct mold configurations according to BOM and work instructions
- Monitor production KPIs, including cycle time, downtime, mold changeover efficiency, and yield
- Enforce quality standards through regular product checks on specifications and tolerances
- Perform root cause analysis of molding defects (e.g., flash, shortflow, air traps) and coordinate 8D corrective actions
- Collaborate with QA and engineering on first article validation and PFMEA processes
- Develop and improve molding and peeling processes to boost efficiency and precision
- Lead lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce scrap, optimize material flow, and remove bottlenecks
- Monitor curing parameters such as temperature, pressure, and curing time to ensure batch consistency
- Recommend mold design improvements and tooling upgrades to enhance cycle times
- Manage production routing and costing
- Identify cost-saving opportunities by reducing scrap, rework, and cycle times
- Plan production orders to optimize workflows and maximize machine utilization for better productivity
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma and above in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, preferably in Rubber Molding Operations
- Strong Experience in various molding and peeling processes
