Organisation Overview:
GWS Living Art is a team of urban greenery specialists based in Singapore,
we specialise in green technologies such as Green Wall and roof systems to
bring greenery into your urban spaces. We also do Rainwater harvesting,
and automated irrigation systems to allow low watering requirements
within an urban city. We truly believe that since our inception in 2017, that
it is an urgent need to have more carbon sinks around our city and our world.
Brief Description:
We are looking for a Project Associate to join our team. This is a junior-level
role suited for someone organised, hands-on, and eager to grow within the
fields of urban sustainability, R&D, and green infrastructure. You will
support ongoing research and development initiatives, maintain lab
resources, manage project documentation, and assist with programs run in
collaboration with Citysprouts, Vidacity and other partners.
Job Description:
- Assist with lab operations and maintenance, including monitoring
- equipment, managing materials, and organising workspace.
- Support research and development activities, such as data collection,
- sample testing, and trial documentation.
- Manage and file technical drawings, project documents, and invoices,
- ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams for sourcing,
- coordination, and scheduling.
- Work closely with the Operations, Design & Development, and
- Contracts departments to support project execution.
- Provide on-site support during community programs or workshops,
- particularly those run with Citysprouts or other green outreach efforts.
- Perform general administrative and coordination duties as assigned.
- Fulfil any other ad hoc duties as required to support project success.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g. Environmental Science,
- Landscape Design, Engineering, Architecture, or similar) preferred—
- but not mandatory.
- 0–2 years of experience in a project/admin/lab support role. Fresh
- graduates are welcome.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,
- PowerPoint).
- Strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive and
- proactive attitude.
- Comfortable working in both lab and field environments.
- Interest in sustainability, green innovation, and hands-on learning.
- Able to start work on short notice will be an advantage.
