Project Planning and Support:
- Assist Account Managers in the development of detailed project plans, including scope of work, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical specifications, drawings, and other project-related documentation.
- Conduct site assessments and gather necessary technical information for project design and planning.
- Assist in the procurement process by preparing technical specifications for equipment and services and evaluating vendor proposals.
Project Execution and Coordination:
- Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams and subcontractors on-site.
- Manage and lead plan approval submissions, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely resolution of feedback or regulatory comments.
- Monitor project progress against the schedule and identify potential delays or issues.
- Coordinate project activities between various internal stakeholders (engineering, procurement, operations, safety) and external stakeholders (clients, contractors, authorities).
- Track project costs and assist in budget control.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant Singapore regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Technical Expertise and Problem Solving:
- Apply engineering principles and technical knowledge to resolve project-related challenges.
- Conduct technical reviews of designs and installations to ensure compliance and optimal performance.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues that may arise during project execution.
- Stay updated on the latest energy technologies and best practices relevant to our service offerings.
Quality Assurance and Safety:
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of quality assurance procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and promote a safe working environment on project sites.
- Participate in safety inspections and incident investigations as required.
- Prepare quality control documentation and reports.
Communication and Reporting:
- Maintain clear and effective communication with Account Managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare regular progress reports and updates on project status.
- Document project-related activities, including site visits, meetings memos, photos, and technical issues.
- Assist in the preparation of project close-out documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields.
- Ideally, 1-3 years of relevant experience in project engineering or coordination within the energy sector in Singapore
- Good understanding of energy systems and technologies, including gas, solar, boiler and cogen be advantageous
- Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with relevant Singaporean regulations and standards is an advantage. A strong commitment to safety and quality.
The successful candidate will be based at 26 Senoko Avenue. Company shuttle bus pickup/dropoff point at Sembawang MRT station.
