1. Pre-Sales & Planning
- Conduct site surveys, propose system designs, and develop layout drawings.
- Assist with scope, budgeting, and scheduling of projects.
- Prepare project schedules, manpower estimations, and task sequencing.
- Ensure technical feasibility and alignment with client needs.
2. Cost, Quality & Delivery
- Monitor budgets, timelines, and resource usage.
- Ensure all installations meet performance, safety, and quality standards.
- Review and verify system functionality before client handover.
3. Project Execution
- Track milestones and enforce deadlines.
- Manage procurement schedules and material delivery timelines.
- Recommend adjustments based on evolving site or design conditions.
- Conduct site visits to oversee installation, testing, and commissioning.
4. Technical Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues swiftly to prevent delays.
- Manage defect resolution and quality control.
5. Stakeholder & Team Coordination
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and subcontractors.
- Assign tasks to internal teams (QS, site managers, etc.).
- Attend on-site and client meetings for coordination and updates.
6. Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare pre-work documentation: Method of Statement, technical drawings, equipment lists, RA/PTW/MEWP forms.
- Compile handover documents: As-Built Drawings, O&M Manuals, Schematics.
- Maintain thorough records of all project changes, decisions, and actions.
7. Additional Duties
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff.
- Share best practices to improve overall project efficiency.
Technical Scope Involvement:
CCTV & Access Control Systems
- Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Work with IP cameras, alarms, card readers, biometric scanners, and access control panels.
- Plan migrations, testing, and system acceptance.
Structured Cabling & Networking
- Install and support structured cabling systems and server/network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot network devices (Cisco, Aruba, Allied Telesis).
- Perform software upgrades and manage routers/switches.
- CCNA/CCNP certifications are advantageous.
What You’ll Need:
- Diploma or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in ELV/Security Systems (CCTV, PA, Access Control, etc.)
- Strong project management and independent execution capability.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Solid understanding of ELV design and security systems.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus.
