Job Description
Main duties and responsibilities of the successful candidates are to assist the Project Manager (PM) / System Manager (SM) on the development and maintenance support of STREAM. This includes:
- Defect Management . Responsibilities include tracking of system defects reported by users; working with Contractor team to ensure prompt resolution to the defects reported.
- Service Request (SR) Management . Responsibilities include tracking and monitoring of SRs raised; assessing SRs and working closely with Contractor team to ensure successful completion of approved SRs.
- Change Request (CR) Management . Responsibilities include tracking and monitoring of CRs raised; conduct of impact assessments (including impact due to CRs from other source applications); review of proposed solution design and facilitate users in CR testing and conduct training when necessary.
- Operations Support . Responsibilities shall include responding to calls/emails from users about issues/queries; working with Contractor team to investigate and resolve functional and/or performance related and/or integration issues, planning system upgrades and scheduled events such as system down-time.
- Compliance Support . Responsibilities shall include performing timely periodic log reviews and account reviews; monitoring vulnerabilities and secure configuration deviations for timely rectification and/or suppression; and supporting annual self-attestation declarations, vulnerability assessment tests, ad-hoc audits and other compliance requirements.
- Review and update documentation where necessary. Examples of documentation include the following: Functional Design Specifications, Technical Design Specifications, User Guides, Process Guides and Standard Operating Procedures
- Ensure the smooth operation of the STREAM applications, and support is not disrupted during normal office working hours.
- Propose, document and work with the PM/SM to implement improvements to the current work processes and/or system to enhance productivity or performance.
Job Requirements
Education Qualification:
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT certifications, or equivalent.Required Competencies:
- Good technical skills in system analysis and design.
- Good knowledge of Atlassian Jira Software and Microsoft SQL database.
- Resourceful, independent, meticulous, responsive and pro-active.
- Good planning and co-ordination skills.
- Strong in written, verbal communication and presentation skills. Good team player, responsible and conscientious.
Required Experience:
- At least four (4) years of experience in project management, of which at least one (1) year experience in project management is in DSTA/MINDEF/SAF projects.
- At least two (2) years of experience in system analysis and design.
- At least one (1) year of experience in leading/managing IT service delivery.
- Preferably PMP or CITPM certified or equivalent.
- Track records of managing successful delivery and implementation/maintenance of IT applications.
