Job Description
We are seeking an experienced PMO Project / Programme Manager with 7–10+ years of expertise in managing large and complex technology projects and programmes. This role requires a strong background in governance, project delivery, and stakeholder management, along with the ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in programme governance and delivery, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with key project management tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring adherence to governance frameworks.
- Oversee project governance as defined by the organisation to ensure deliverables are completed according to methodology and within timelines.
- Ensure timely acquisition of relevant approvals to support smooth delivery and compliance with organisational standards and processes.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of project deliverables throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Drive operational excellence by engaging with business and technology teams across all workstreams to identify potential issues, delays, and cross-project dependencies.
- Attend and manage governance forums, including preparing invites, decks, consolidating agendas, circulating minutes, and following up on action items.
- Manage and oversee multiple technology projects to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide project advisory, risk management, and quality assurance support.
- Track and monitor issues, risks, and dependencies across projects, escalating in a timely manner.
- Facilitate adherence to standards and processes through regular quality assurance activities.
- Support the identification and resolution of delivery challenges, ensuring alignment across project teams.
- Perform additional administrative activities as required.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of experience in managing large and complex technology projects and programmes.
- Strong knowledge of programme delivery and governance frameworks.
- Demonstrable track record of managing multiple projects to successful completion.
- Strategic, detail-oriented, and analytical, with the ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
- Exposure to various project methodologies and strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree; PMP, Prince2, or Scrum Master certification preferred.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly proficient with PowerPoint, Confluence, JIRA, and SharePoint.
- Ability to produce high-quality PowerPoint presentations (mandatory).
- Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
