Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale government IT projects. The role requires a balance of strong project leadership skills and hands-on technical expertise in system analysis, design, and IT service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Lead system analysis and design efforts, working closely with stakeholders to define requirements, architecture, and integration points.
- Oversee IT service delivery, ensuring system uptime, performance, and security compliance.
- Utilize tools such as Jira Software for project tracking and Microsoft SQL for data analysis and reporting.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and vendors, to ensure smooth implementation and maintenance of IT applications.
- Prepare and present project updates, risks, and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant security, governance, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- At least 4 years of project management experience, including government-sector IT projects.
- At least 1 year in Defence related projects
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in system analysis and design.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in IT service delivery management.
- Strong working knowledge of Jira Software and Microsoft SQL database.
- PMP or CITPM certification preferred.
- Strong planning, coordination, communication, and presentation skills.
