The School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) is seeking to hire a Project Officer to conduct experiments for Correlation of Defect Analysis from X-ray CT results to Fractography Failure Analysis from Fatigue Tests
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Correlation studies between XCT and Fatigue Test experiments.
- Write a Correlation report and Draft a Research paper arising from correlation work.
Job Requirements:
- Education qualifications – BEng degree in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
- Soft skills – data analysis and report writing
- Hard skills – experimental failure analysis
- Experience – work at SIMTech will be an advantage
