Job Responsibilities:
- Generate and issue purchase orders to direct and indirect suppliers.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining optimal safety stock levels.
- Follow up on delivery lead time, shipment arrivals and claims with vendors.
- Timely procurement and managing of safety level stock.
- Source and negotiate with new suppliers, including payment terms and contract conditions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve purchasing-related matters efficiently.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by he supervisor. Training will be provided.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of SAP B1 and reporting tools will be an added advantage.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment under tight timelines. Positive attitude, resourceful, and meticulous in work execution.
