Location: Pioneer
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm
Salary: Up to $4,500
Key Responsibilities
- Source and purchase materials for shipboard and workshop operations
- Arrange inspection and renewal of lifting equipment certifications
- Negotiate with vendors to ensure best value in cost, quality, and delivery
- Develop supplier base and identify alternative sources
- Handle purchase documentation, PO processing, and maintain records in line with ISO 9001
- Support facility-related purchases and subcontracting needs
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety and EHS policies
Requirements
- Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Marine Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience (Marine or Engineering preferred)
- Familiar with sourcing raw materials, fabricated items, and technical services
- ERP system knowledge is a plus
