Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Real Estate Business Development and Investment team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for real estate and a desire to grow their career in investment and asset management. You will be involved in the full investment lifecycle — from research and deal sourcing to financial analysis and post-acquisition asset management. The role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners across a diverse portfolio of real estate assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify investment opportunities
- Source, evaluate, and support real estate acquisition deals
- Perform financial modeling, property valuation, and scenario planning
- Track and optimize performance of real estate portfolios and assets
- Support deal structuring and coordination with stakeholders
- Assist in lease negotiations, budgeting, and asset enhancement planning
- Manage contracts and oversee capital improvement projects
- Identify portfolio risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Prepare investment memos, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and business objectives
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in real estate investment, market research, analysis, or asset management
- Solid knowledge of investment principles (e.g. NOI, IRR, ROI, cap rate) and valuation methodologies
- Proficiency in financial modeling and tools such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word; knowledge of real estate software (e.g. Argus, Yardi, CoStar) is preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
- Familiarity with real estate market dynamics, property operations, and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin (additional Asian languages are a plus)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, or related disciplines
- Advanced certifications (e.g. CFA, real estate-related qualifications) are a plus but not required
