We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our dynamic research team focused on Parkinson’s disease (PD) and neurodegeneration. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge translational projects aimed at discovering and validating novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets in PD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform protein-and cell-based assays, including recombinant protein purification, native protein purification, and immunoprecipitation.
- Culture and manipulate human stem cells and induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived models.
- Conduct in vivo studies in mice, including behavioural assays and tissue processing. Investigate and validate biomarkers using techniques, such as ELISA, flow cytometry, digital PCR and seed amplification assay.
Requirements:
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, or a related biomedical field.
- Solid hands-on experience with molecular biology, stem cell culture, and mouse handling.
- Proven ability to independently design and execute project and interest in translational science.
