The College of Computing & Data Science (CCDS) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Explore the frontiers of intelligent sensing by advancing cutting-edge theories and pioneering transformative technologies.
- Integrate wireless sensing with Large Language Models (LLMs) to pioneer next-generation intelligent sensing solutions.
- Develop systems to perceive, understand, and respond to the physical world.
- Read and write related academic papers
- Engage in and facilitate teamwork
- Assist with teaching, and research event arrangements
Job Requirements:
- Applicants must possess PhD’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of wireless sensing and large language models (LLMs). Specifically, the candidate should have expertise in Wi-Fi sensing, mmWave sensing, and acoustic sensing, as well as in applying LLMs to these sensing modalities.
- Strong publication record in related areas.
- Demonstrated capability to conduct innovative research.
- Demonstrated ability to formulate hypotheses and design effective experimental plans to validate proposed ideas.
- Proven capability to lead and initiate collaborative research across disciplines.
