Purpose:
To ensure effective and accurate management of ticketing services and retail area, maintaining highest level of customer care at all times. The Ticketing and Retail Host works in rotation and will at anyone point be responsible for the following function.
Description of Job:
1. The Retail & Ticketing Host is responsible for delivering highest level of care and quality interaction with guests.
- Adhere to Skyline Luge Service Standard Charter at all times
- Ensure the needs of the guests are given priority over all other activities.
- Pro-actively attend to guests at any point of the of their journey in the view to deliver positive interactions through 1on1 attention
- Welcome guests and check validity of ticket from guest that have purchase online
- Provide any additional information that will be deemed pertinent for the rest of their experience
- Should issue with guest arise, involve Teams Leader or Supervisor immediately
2. The Retail & Ticketing Host is responsible for Pre-Opening/End of Day task of the ticketing and retail space
- Perform pre-opening checks and end of day tasks as per SOP or as directed by the Duty Manager, Team Leader or Supervisor when required
- Luge merchandise displayed on the retail shelving prior to opening the site.
- Ensure all areas within Luge premises are always clean and tidy (pick up rubbish and clean bins etc… as and when needed throughout the day)
3. The Retail & Ticketing Host is responsible for ticket sales and redemption of 3rd party tickets
- Ensure guests are providing with the correct information with regards to ticket options and packages to help them make their choice
- Advise guests of appropriate conditions of participation and Code of Conduct
- Ensure guests meet the height requirements to ride the Luge and Skyride.
- Ensure upselling opportunities are optimised
- Perform issuance of tickets timely and correctly
- Provide timely and accurate information to guests with regards to waiting time as and when it is appropriate
- Manage and operate POS system till adequately at all times
- Ensure correct product are keyed in the POS system correctly
4. The Retail & Ticketing Host is responsible for supporting guests with Photo & Merchandise purchase
- Support guest in accessing their entire set of photo/video
- Ensure F&B and Merchandise items are replenished throughout the day as and when its required
- Ensure upselling opportunities are optimised
- In case of incident on Luge tracks or Skyride, contact Ride Manager on duty before report to BCA. Ensure that accurate records and documentations is maintained.
5. Others tasks the Retail & Ticketing Host is responsible for includes:
- Ensuring guest feedback questionnaire on-site are being filled-in adequately and in large enough numbers.
- Ensuring good flow to helmets available for guests, especially at busy times.
- Ensuring the site presentation are always well maintained and litter free by changing the bins when require.
