Job Responsibilities
- Assist the WSH Manager in identifying and assessing workplace risks.
- Conduct site safety inspections and enforce compliance with prevailing MOM Safety Acts and Regulations.
- Organize and support Safety Committee meetings, safety events, and campaigns.
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings to highlight safety issues and preventive measures.
- Supervise and address all workplace safety, health, and environmental control matters.
- Ensure proper documentation, permits, and licenses related to workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance are maintained and up to date.
- Conduct periodic WSH cross inspections across sites to ensure adherence to government safety regulations and industry standards.
- Assist in conducting safety training and briefings (e.g., familiarization with standardized Risk Management procedures) for site teams to promote safety awareness and statutory compliance.
- Identify unsafe acts or practices and take prompt corrective actions to eliminate hazards.
- Perform any other duties assigned in relation to workplace safety, health, and environmental matters.
Job Requirements
- Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health (Level B) (Environment, Health, Safety) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in WSH or related field.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to workplace safety, health, and environmental control.
- Proactive, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team with a high level of initiative.evel of initiative.
