- Conduct hazard and vulnerability review to identify possible emergency scenarios.
- Define WSH conditions and practices to be checked.
- Design Workplace Safety and Health Management System (WSHMS) details.
- Develop Emergency Preparedness and Response Plans (EPRP) and refine plans to cover risks.
- Develop strategies for resource planning.
- Drive WSH performance management plans and systems.
- Plan WSH incident and accident investigation processes.
- Plan WSH roles and responsibilities across departments.
- Plan a WSH structure to sustain WSH goals.
- Review the nature of the organisation and its WSH risks and needs.
- Advice employer on the relevant WSHE course require under the law to be attended by relevant designation.
- Ensure that records on WSHE training, accident reports, and safety correspondences are properly filed.
- Advice management on all WSHE related matters
- Monitor and review the overall implementation of the Company's WSHE Management System.
- Conduct periodic site WSHE inspections to ensure that site WSHE programmes and regulations are being complied with
- To stop work or notify site manager if any WSHE deviation is observed
- To consult with external parties for the following-Change in legal or other requirements
- Continuous improvement on the EHS system through the effective implementation of ISO & OSHAS management standards.
- Liaise with MOM, NEA, PUB and other relevant authorities on all WSH issues. Any related ad-hoc duties or assignment as instructed by the Management.
