About the Role:
The role will support the client-facing derivatives sales team dealing in derivatives products.
You will receive on-the-job training, mentorship and exposure to global clients, in particular clients of China origin, as you build a foundation in both product knowledge and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior salespeople in managing client relationships and executing sales strategies.
- Support the preparation of client materials and pitchbooks.
- Monitor market activity to identify trends and develop trade ideas.
- Track client trading behaviour by utilizing predictive analytics tools to identify potential risk
- Coordinate with dealing desks to obtain pricing and manage execution logistics.
- Learn about derivatives products, risk management strategies and client solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of relevant experience.
- Strong bilingual competency (written and spoken English and Chinese) with strong communication skills to engage professionally and effectively with clients of China origin.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Existing network of clients of China origin preferred.
