JOB BRIEF
The Sales Support Executive is responsible for answering phone calls from customers and dealing with problems as they arise, following up with customers to make sure that they are satisfied with the products and services, providing any necessary data or reports to the sales team, acknowledging customers by responding to emails or phone calls, updating clients’ information, and dealing with customer complaints and resolving the issue as necessary.
The Sales Support Executive reports to the Sales & Marketing Manager.
EXPECTATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a cheerful attitude while answering all inbound calls and addressing customer or sales team needs.
- Answer all customer email inquiries promptly to resolve any complaint or issue while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Support sales staff by completing and processing orders and keeping senior staff informed of any issues with delivery.
- Support sales staff by meeting month-end goals and maintaining customer pricing in the sales order processing system.
- Provide all necessary data to management upon request and coordinate sales meetings.
- Make the necessary arrangements for the sales team and the senior support staff when needed.
- Collaborate effectively with the sales team by creating and issuing sales tracking documentation upon request.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Minimum 2 years of sales support experience, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and support to sales teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders through verbal and written communication.
- Strong attention to detail and a customer-centric approach, with excellent support sales skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
- Ability to work independently with a positive and proactive working attitude, taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
- High degree of accuracy and efficiency in work processes, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Hands-on experience with sales order processing systems, with the ability to navigate and utilize these systems to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in MS Office Professional, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to leverage these tools to streamline work processes and drive productivity.
