SAP EWM Technical ConsultantC

We are seeking an experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Technical Consultant to design, develop, and implement technical solutions in SAP EWM, ensuring integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems. The role involves working closely with functional teams, business stakeholders, and project managers to deliver scalable, high-performance, and reliable EWM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Development & Customization
  Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP EWM applications using ABAP/ABAP OO, RF frameworks, and other SAP development tools.
  Create and modify custom objects, user exits, BADIs, enhancements, and reports in SAP EWM.
  Develop and customize RF screens for warehouse operations.
  Work on PICK, PUTAWAY, HU Management, Wave Management, and Task/Resource Management technical aspects.
• Integration
  Implement and maintain interfaces between SAP EWM and ERP (ECC/S4 HANA) using IDocs, RFC, BAPIs, and Web Services.
  Support integration with external systems such as conveyors, sorters, scanners, and automation systems.
• Performance & Quality
  Ensure optimized performance of custom developments.
  Conduct unit testing, support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Documentation & Support
  Prepare technical specifications and solution documentation.
  Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot issues, and deliver bug fixes in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Experience

• Technical Expertise in SAP EWM 9.5 or higher (S/4 HANA EWM preferred).
• Strong ABAP/ABAP OO skills with experience in enhancements, BADIs, and user exits.
• Hands-on experience with RF Framework development.
• Good understanding of EWM Process Flows (Inbound, Outbound, Internal Warehouse Processes).
• Experience with EWM-MFS (Material Flow System) integration is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP UI5/Fiori apps in EWM will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in creating and consuming IDocs, RFCs, and Web Services.
• At least 3–6 years of relevant SAP EWM technical development experience.
