[What the role is]
Technical Executive (School of Health and Social Sciences)[What you will be working on]
- Perform scheduled checks and maintenance of IT equipment and updates of software at their designated venues.
- Maintain records/logs of IT equipment and software inventory, repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule. Identify these equipment and software for shortages/replacements, including those for condemnation, and place orders.
- Provide technical support to users on how to operate IT equipment and software. Liaise with stakeholders to solve IT problems/issues when necessary.
- Assist in the School system administration and duties.
- Assist the School IT team in ICT new initiative as well as supporting the team in existing technical duties and responsibilities. These include e-assessment duties, cybersecurity, network, server, PCs & peripheral support and maintenance.
- Involve in committees, project work or quality improvement teams.
[What we are looking for]
- Diploma in IT or equivalent.
- At least 2 years related working experience.
- The candidate shall also possess the following:
- Customer-service oriented, motivated, resourceful, responsible and team-player.
- Good diagnostic, problem-solving and time-management skills.
